Soon her students were exchanging ideas and photos with him and found how different the view of the sky was from “down under”. I shared this with my students and we had a nice conversation about social media connecting scientists around the world.

I don’t know how many public domain/free iBooks there are. My husband has both a Kindle and an iPad – he said that in the Nook vs Kindle battle that the kindle wins hands down!
The newest iPad that is coming out will have a jump-drive portal/usb port and a built-in camera. I’m not sure when it is supposed to come out, but it’s one awesome devise!

You can purchase USB and SD card adapters, but they are not built in (of course there will be TONS of accessories).

The missing camera is a huge fail in my opinion. Everything has a camera these days! I’m with you – I’ll wait until the upgrades start to roll out!

Are we able to insert jump-drives into this nifty device? It has so many wonderful features, but I am a little sad that it does not have a built in camera like other notebooks. I think I might wait a bit because as you know Apple is known for upgrading their devices!
